One of the most exciting events this summer is Sparx Thursday

Night Live (TNL), a Thursday evening event with live entertainment, food and drink specials, cornhole tournaments and an outdoor movie theater experience. Two of the four TNL events have already taken place, energizing
West 9th Street on mid-week summer evenings.
The first TNL was a great success! After running the Live Free at 668 Euclid sweepstakes contest since April,
DCA and the
K&D Group finally hosted the grand prize drawing to kick off Thursday Night Live on July 23rd. Diane Flood from Lakewood (one of 32 contestants to participate in the grand prize drawing) selected the winning key that opened the grand prize door. Her grand prize included a rent-free year in a two-bedroom, 1,400 square foot apartment at the new Residences at 668 Euclid! Diane and her husband will be the first residents of Downtown's newest residential address. During the press conference that evening, the K&D Group also announced the signing of a two-level fitness center to be part of the Residences at 668 Euclid. The 20,000 square foot Titan's Gym will be the newest full-service gym in Downtown. This is definitely an exciting acquisition for the building and its future residents, many of which will begin moving in as early as August 15th.
As usual, TNL on August 6th will feature live music and entertainment from local Sparx performers, food and drink specials from fantastic downtown restaurants and bars, a cornhole tournament (which is still open for registration), and to end the evening, Twilight will shown on an inflatable movie screen. (This week, the inflatable movie screen will be moved to a different location on West 9th Street to account for streetscape lighting; this will provide for a better viewing experience.) This week's Sparx performances will feature Saborit Latin Soul and talented juggler, John Flower.
The final TNL will be on August 13th featuring performances by Pan-Cleve Orquestra with an the outdoor movie for the week as Iron Man. For more information about downtown cleveland living and the Grand Arcade, email
